Dividend Aristocrats: “I Love Boring”

Jimmy Mengel, Editor of Crow’s Nest Newsletter, defines a Dividend Aristocrat as a public company that has raised its dividend for 25 consecutive years… “the cream of the crop.”

Among the companies discussed are Nucor Steel (NUE), Boeing (BA) and Johnson & Johnson (JNJ). Mengel notes that with the benefit of a dividend reinvestment program the stock keeps compounding and “you don’t have to worry about it.”

“I love boring,” Mengel says.
